Part 01
An Instagram that sells the experience, not just the drinks
Hello there!
A boba favorite, relaunched as its own events brand. In-house shoots, a feed people save, and Meta ads that turn scrollers into booked parties.

Project overview
It's Boba Time already had fans at the counter. The catering side had nothing of its own: no account, no content, and no way for a party planner to find it. We launched It's Boba Time Catering on Instagram in July 2026 and built everything behind it: the shoots, the content, and the ads that fill the calendar.

The brief
Hosts don't book a drink station from a menu. They book the moment guests pull out their phones. The brief had three parts.
We also saw a chance to make production the engine: shoot once, publish all month, and advertise with the best of it.
Part 01
An Instagram that sells the experience, not just the drinks
Part 02
Content good enough to run as ads without reshooting
Part 03
A Meta funnel that turns a tap into a quote request
The challenge
Event catering is a visual purchase. A host scrolling late at night decides in seconds whether your setup belongs at their party. Without a catering presence, It's Boba Time wasn't in the running.
No catering account: event bookings had no home of their own
No event photography a host could picture at their party
No content plan or posting rhythm
Invisible to hosts actively planning birthdays, weddings and office parties
No clear path from "this looks fun" to "send me a quote"
A crowded category where most boba feeds look alike
A dedicated @itsbobatimecatering account with its own bio, highlights and booking path
Recurring in-house shoot days: drink macros, styled setups and real events
A monthly calendar built on four content pillars, with reels at the core
Meta campaigns aimed at local hosts and planners, built from shoot footage
Lead forms and DM flows that turn an ad tap into a quote request in a few taps
A bold orange look with sticker tags and a script "Catering," applied to every post
Our approach
Catering gets booked on a feeling. Every step was designed to capture that feeling once and use it everywhere: in the feed, in stories, and in ads.
We started with the people who book: parents planning a kid's birthday, couples planning a wedding, and office managers organizing a team event. Each one asks a different first question, and each needed a different reason to book.
From there we set the catering brand apart from the café. Same drinks, sold as an experience guests remember.
Four pillars anchor every post: the drinks, the events, the guests, and the offer. Each pillar has its own template, so the feed stays varied but always looks like It's Boba Time.
The look leans into the brand's orange, with sticker-style tags and a handwritten "Catering" script that reads instantly in a crowded feed.
Our own crew runs every shoot: drink macros with fruit and toppings in the studio, then styled setups and live event coverage on location. No stock, no reposts.
Each shoot day is planned against the calendar, so one session delivers a month of posts, reels and ad creatives.
From the shoot · Product heroReels lead the calendar because they reach people who don't follow yet. Each one is cut for the first second: the pour, the toppings, the reaction.
Carousels and graphics fill the rest of the week: guest reviews, event types and seasonal offers, on a steady rhythm.
Campaigns run in two layers. Reach campaigns put the best reels in front of local hosts; lead campaigns retarget people who watched, with instant forms and a Send Message button.
Creatives rotate from the latest shoot, so ads never go stale.
Ad creative · Bring the Boba BarWe review results weekly and report monthly: reach, engagement, cost per lead and inquiries.
The hooks that win go into the next shoot plan, which closes the loop.
Signature system
The Shoot-to-Ad Pipeline
The centerpiece of the engagement. Every shoot is planned around three outputs at once: posts for the feed, reels for reach, and creatives for ads. Nothing is shot for just one place.

Card 01
One planned session yields stills, vertical video and B-roll in every format the calendar needs. The feed never waits on the next shoot.
Card 02
Every reel is framed and cut to run as a Meta ad unchanged: vertical, a hook in the first second, captions on screen. The best organic posts become the next ads.
Card 03
Ads end in an instant form or a DM, not a homepage. Event date, guest count and event type come in up front, so the owner replies with a quote, not a question.
Instagram direction
We built the catering feed on four content pillars. Every post earns its place by answering one question a host has before they book.

The Drinks
Will my guests love it?

The Events
Will it fit my event?

The Guests
Can I trust them?

The Offer
How do I book?

Behind the shoot

Meta advertising
Our best performers came straight from the shoot: real drinks, real parties, and a clear ask. Each runs as a native post or reel, so it reads like content until the call to action.

It's Boba Time Catering now has its own audience, voice and booking path, separate from the café.
Every shoot pays off on the feed and in ads, so each shoot day does double duty.
Each month's winning hooks shape the next shoot, so content and ads get sharper the longer the partnership runs.
